The car has been for sale on and off for over 20 years and most locals know it well. I hooked up with the owner and his son last year at the Nationals and we talked for hours. We first met in 1996. We've discussed how the floors were done and he knows that is why I didn't buy the car. Last year he wanted $60k US for the car. It is 100% complete, but it was his daily driver for many years and our winters took their toll. It got the typical body shop repairs that most local cars got back then...patched floors, half quarters, etc. Strong, but not pretty underneath. Anyone who looks st the car can see what it needs...not sure how that is 'butchering' the car...
