Passenger side coil spring install:-)
I media blasted my original shims and painted them, the inline tube shims don't really look like the originals:-( It took a bit of trial and improvement to get the spring compressor located in the spring perfectly so I could compress the spring enough to install and yet still remove the compressor, and not interfere with the upper spring pocket, or lower control arm....... I took the pictures to try to replicate the set up for coil spring number 2:-) My only issue was that the powder coating is slippery and the compressor spoon wanted to slip/rotate up the coil and the hooks wanted to slip/rotate down the coil. (If that makes sense?) (basically the compressor wanted to rotate on the axis of the coil spring instead of compressing the coil spring) so I added scotch brite for traction on all contact points and it did not slip at all after wards. I wish I had time to do the driver CS today but lots of other fun stuff planned, only time to post a few pics and go. Ryan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
