Default Re: I am looking for a qualified restoration mechanic

Maybe I am biased but I graduated from Dunwoody Industrial Institute in 1981 and the only think I lacked upon graduation was real world experience but give me a broken car and I could fix it. Most of what I see today coming out of these and other Vo-tech type schools are wanna bees and they seem to only teach them the very basics. When I went to school they drove it into your head and not only taught you how to fix something but more importantly how to diagnose it and fix it correctly.
