I live in KCK by the Kansas River..and i see them nearly daily in the winter..

last year one was behind my shop tearing a fish in pieces and eating it..

huge birds...i mean big...you dont realize til your 10 yards away just how big they are

Or see one of there nests, they keep using the same one adding to it and often break part of the tree. 5 or 6' in diameter.
