To clear up any confusion from my statement that aluminum intake only got cad plated bolts. Cast iron equipped cars got black phosphate coated bolts as they would have orange paint to protect them. It was cheaper than zinc.
Aluminum intakes got cad/zinc plated bolts as they would be exposed to the elements. |
