| Holley with no choke identification..

Hello all.. trying to identify and document some big block Chevy parts and thinking this engine has a Holley that is not a GM installed part. What is the best way to identify this carb?

If the throttle blades are 180's, that appears to be a Holley 9381 which is an 830 cfm carb. The annular boosters are a telltale sign.

Puddle dumper w/annular boosters -- may be a dead giveaway Eric

Those annular booster Holleys are very snappy. I like them quite a bit.

Yup -- takes a bit from the CFM, but IMHO, the response is enhanced ... TAZ

Ok... looked again and front block looks like 8543 stamped and rear is 9108. Also looked at the top closer and see 9380 cast into the top of the main body. Didn't see that before. I didn't pull the carb to check the throttle blades.. just too damn hot to work until the last couple days..
