Dunno if this has been posted, but if it has, it's sufficiently awesome to warrant re-posting.

Neat. Just curious as to why all the figitting? To the dash twice, flips switch beside the MSD box, then at the end of the run, hits ALL 3 switches in the center?? I can't see any being lin-loc or 2 step, but the way the car sat and rev'ved 6500 on launch, he has it somewhere??

</div></div> Looks to me like at the beginning of the video he's resetting the tach memory before and after the burnout. Not sure about the end. Maybe he shuts the whole car down and they tow it back the pits? |

Could be several things, actually. Definitely appears to hit the tell-tale switch on tach, down below could be (and I don't know the set-up in Ben's car)2nd fuel pump, turn on/off fan, turn on/off 2-step (mine is wired in line-lock), turn on data log computer, etc., etc....Stock isn't what it used to be and to be class competitive all that stuff is almost mandatory. That car has been raced since new and has held many National Records and won more than it's share of National events, so I'd surmise it has the latest/greatest technology. Hard to see if Ole' Ben is using the clutch to shift....appears to be a Long shifter and I'd guess a Jerico or G-Force transmission he is rowing. GREAT video...thanks for posting.
