Results from todays event. The car ran a 10;51 last week and a 10;51 this week. same track. Speed was 130 MPH. But I got the BIG Red one. Next weekend Atco, hope the weather is good. Thats a fast track, if there is good air. The Dutchman

I'll be at Atco with my nephew watching; I love the Modifiers shows.

Good consistent times Professor. Atco will be faster than Numida even if the air is not perfect.
You could set the B/MP national record if this was in the 70's.

Where does one find the rules and record for this B/MP that you speak?

Benny, my ZL-1 is taking too long, so looking to do an interim motor, my ZLX project motor, while I wait. Will be alot like your car, so might be able to go for this record too!!!!

B/MP is an NHRA class that car may have run with the set-up he had in the early 70's.
The ET record back then was around the 10.50 range.
The Professor's nova used to have dual quads on it when he first brought it out.

Ya I figured it was a class from years ago. Funny, with the "L-78 spec", 402 in my '69 Nova and "840" heads with a Strip Dominator intake and Holley 800, 4.56's, M-21 and Firestone 9 X 29.5 slick Full weight my car went 10.47 on it's only 1/4 mile pass before getting kicked out for no roll bar. BUT did run a bunch of 6.60's in the 1/8 and then just let off!! LOL
