I used to know an old mechanic who had worked at Beardmore in the late 50s-early 60's. He had some killer stories about all the 409 cars that went through there.

I bought the Beardmore emblems for a car I was after...'69 RS/SS L78 that was still on MSO and had never been titled, just raced. Apparently the dealer gave it to his son, who subsequently brought it to MI when GM hired him at the Proving Grounds. Cool car, wish I had bought it, but could never make a deal with the owner.
