Very cool car......I know - I used to own it What attracted me to it other than the fact that any A12 is a bad-ass factory "special" is the combo. Turquoise with a white gut and 4-speed. Only ever seen another and it was a black gut. I sold it before restoring it....had way too many projects going. It is stunning in person.....the restorers did an outstanding job. Car was restored by Jeff Cabot and Mauro Brocca to OE specs and procedures. They have won Gold etc. at the Mopar Nats with their attention to correct details. They actually spend a lot of time researching survivors....including taking a million photo's of my stuff - to get things right. |

For those who have not seen this car in person at MCACN, in my opinion it was one of the best paint/restored MOPARs at the show. While it does not have the original engine or a build sheet, the VIN and Fender tags are authentic and it is in the A-12 registry as well as a known car in the A-12 circles. The drivetrain is correctly dated. The resto costs on this car would exceed $100,000.00 us not including parts and or the cost of the car. It was restored by Mauro Brocca and Jeff Cabot in Canada, who have scored OE Gold at the Mopar Nat’s – enjoying a well deserved reputation for completely authentic restorations. The car is a work of Art and better in person than in pictures. It's one of those cars that the closer you look and the more you know, the more you smile. Jim Bodanis who is a member and well known MOPAR collector as well as MCACN Judge, is very familiar with this car as found and prior to restoration….and assisted in the finer details during the restoration. |
