<span style="font-family: 'Georgia'">That's a beautiful car! I ordered my '67 Firebird 400 when I was 19 and still have it (just shy of 48 years). I drove mine in the street for about a year and drag raced it on weekends. Eventually I got to the point where I flat towed to the races and stopped driving it on the street. I think I have about 10,000 miles and it was driven in the rain maybe two or three times and never saw snow/salt. I got into motorcycles in '71 and the car has been in storage ever since. I'm in the process of returning it to stock and your photos will be a big help for me under the hood as I made lots of changes and forgot how things should look. Mine is black w/ the deluxe black interior, 400 converted to Ram Air, close ratio 4-speed w/ 4:33 gears. Non-power disc brakes and manual steering. Anyway - I really enjoyed seeing your car.

Cool history.

That is exactly the same back story with our '65 GTO (in storage since '74 with 4900 miles). Nice to hear there are others like this out there.

Keith, We know each other from another site.... I also own the one owner unrestored 1965 GTO convertible tri-power 4-speed car as well.
