mid 80,s.....the COPO then would be worth more as scrap considering the heavy rad in today's values.....relative to the purchase price back then....
it was that bad. still sold for $10,000 to a pair of builder's from Ohio....have no idea of the cars whereabouts or condition today.

Ya, In the 80's a friend in High school had a carousel red gto judge in the bushes beside his house for years. I asked him to ask his mother if she would sell it, she said $2500. Being 16 at the time, that could have been $50k to me, so ended up not buying it. I hear it's in a collection in NYC now...

$5,000.00 for a well used Yenko, those were the days.
That Yenko had some serious paperwork. I remember a letter from Danny to either Motion Performance or Nickey stating that he was having Trans problems and had taken off the Yenko Stripes and badges when Yenko wouldn't warranty the Trans again. The original telegram reply from the other shop recommended an M22 upgrade. |

It came with 2 trans, the CT & an M22.
Along with Cams, headers, gauges, both the SW-Yenko and a 10,000 rpm tach drive among the racing clutch pieces, Hurst stuff, etc.... all I'd die to have today. But,.. 'I do have the SW pedestal green line, green light tach'.... uh hum,it needs a good home....
