There are also a couple of other numbers other than 248 that appeared on some of those red coils. 240 and 241 come to mind. Likely those numbers are only seen on assembly line coils since the 248 coil was what Delco used for replacements.

Thanks John...I never researched it...Phil's son picked it up from me at Carlisle......I was hoping to see it on his car...he probably knows the #'s....
