I may be selling a very nice GM endure bumper....then again, I may just wait and see how it looks before deciding that.

They made the only off-the-shelf header I could find for my old '55 Gasser that would fit with all the engine setback. They also had a great website with tech info pages on exhaust scavenging which has always been an interesting subject.

Well, I may have to buy a pair. Turns out the ones I thought I scored at a reasonable price were just the retainers. A well meaning member sent me the link, and I didn't read it carefully. Fortunately, the vender is accepting the return, as I have no need for them. My retainers are in perfect condition. Thanks for the kind words on my car guys. I am pretty proud of it, considering Sherri and I painted it in the garage.

Considering just doing the spears myself. I know, once you figure in your time, it is cheaper to buy new. Back to my question: were these spears flash chromed? I know the window trim was flash chromed, and it makes it very difficult to get them looking perfect just polishing them.
