If I had that car, I would borrow money if need be (well, maybe not, I am allergic to debt - haven't had a car payment since 1970).
One way or another, I would find a way to reunite engine and car. I think the prevailing opinion is that a Yenko is worth about 30k to 50k more than a "regular" COPO. Makes that $25k original engine look pretty attractive.
