Default Re: The "Official " Can-Am engine thread.

In the late '80s we did a ZL-1 Camaro restoration. Of course it needed an engine and we bought a very nice ZL-1 block from LaMar Walden. He had gotten several of them from McLaren. This one had new liners and an odd modification: the fuel pump pushrod boss had been capped with a pipe plug. Block was stamped RS 4.630.

Sound familiar?

Default Lee Muir Memorial Aug 16 th Laguna Seca

My name of John Noll and I was Lee Muir's friend since 1965. Sadly he passed away this past March in Germany. His family and I are planning a Celebration of his life at the Monterey Historics Sat. Aug. 16th at the Skip Barber class room at 12:15 PM. Been searching for Tom Anderson and Tom Meyers as they might like to know. Lee was like a second father and mentor to so many including myself in the motorsports community. Any help from the historic Group 7 community would wonderful for his family . You can PM me at [email protected]
