Thanks guys for all the good words...
It is an amazing car - possibly the lowest mileage 69Z in existence Solid paperwork car, orig title, protecto plate, window sticker, dealer paperwork, loan papers etc. Now that the car is done, I feel really good about the car, the looks and the originality that we tried to duplicate with the lacquer paint. I had great help putting it back together - mikeee as pictured (not sure if he was catching a few ZZZZ's, sam griff and I slipped the redone subframe under it one early morning, Shaun on the fantastic paint work and attention to detail. Jeff Koch from Hemmings did a great photo session as we rushed to the favorite backdrop location, racing against the sunset. Also thanks to Mike McNessor from Hemmings for the written aspects. The orig owner and I have been in touch a few more times as well. One thing ill point out(before someone jumps in) - this was taken prior to the MCACN show this past yr, and at the show one of our SYC members pointed out that the front grill Z/28 emblem was off slightly....(which it was) - of which, it is now fixed !! DUHHHH!!! Thanks Lloyd :-) Time to MBTMF - right Dana???
