I know I'm in the minority here, but....Isn't light rust correct? Bead blast them and let nature take it's course. Without the rain,snow,daily driving and being stored correctly, they should look perfect for a long time. I've never seen gray manifolds from GM, cast yes, but gray? Never.I have a few sets that have seasoned perfectly this way.

If it ain't rusty, it ain't real In rust, we trust May the rust be with you. I think painted manifolds look great and certainly, everyone should do as they see fit. As for me, I prefer the patina of rust but, I'm an NCRS geek.
