Motion did not have its own body shop.In addition to its own branded customizing body parts, Motion Performance sold fiberglass parts from many manufacturers. I'm not super familiar with what a mid year phase 3 gt would include, so I shouldn't have called it that. When my father bought the car from the original owner he said the hood, wells, tail, rear lights, shark nose, and shaved handles were all done from motion. Also I see some mid years with high cut wells or flared wells, but I'm yet to have ever seen one with this nose, tail & wells. Plus when my father needed a new rear well in 90 he had to show pictures that of the car before they sold him replacement rear wells. Also the 2nd motion catalog I have that came with this car shows the exact car in the catalog under 64-67 phase 3 gt

The Phase III GT Corvette branding was used only on approximately 12 1969-1971 Corvettes that were ordered as new car deliveries from Baldwin Chevrolet and converted by Motion. They are the only Baldwin-Motion Phase III Corvettes. There really is no such thing as a mid-series Phase III GT Corvette. Customizing parts were sold by Motion and there may be some Phase III GT references, but all true Phase III GT Corvette parts were made to fit only C3 model Corvettes. My Motion book documents the Phase III GT Corvette. http://www.amazon.com/Motion-Perform.../dp/0760335389
