Best of luck in your search. I was looking for my dads old Z/28 and with a stroke of luck and help of a member on this site I found the car and brought it back home. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Check with the North Carolina DMV. They were most helpful when I was researching the history of my 68Z. I received the complete history of my car when it 'lived' in NC. The only stipulation is that you cannot contact any of the former owners due to the privacy act. Good luck with your quest.
