|  Assembly line correct 69 Camaro SS wheel lug 
			
			Does this look correct for the early ss wheels lug nut?     today, i see the ones with the stainless caps - BUT i believe they were later? appreciate the advise

			Eddie, Originals were stainless capped for 69 as well as later. GM did not use any lug nuts that were chrome plated on these wheels. Nobody currently reproduces the correct profile stainless capped lug nuts. The closest thing is a GM replacement , part # 414188. This style was reproduced and are easily available. They look very similar to your chromed steel lug nut. Chris |

			the chromed nut you show is avail new/replacement as a substitute for the "correct" SS clad lug nuts your car originally came with ... it LOOKS right ... as stated above, the "correct" profile SS clad nuts are impossible to find and were phased out with a replacement design
