Engine and tranny is in. Shifter is hooked up and functional, but I am missing some parts. Posted an offer to trade some extra shifter rods.
Shifter boot: Does the bottom half of the double lip at the bottom go under the floor? Make sense? Looks to me as if I can put one "flap" under the floor, and one over.

Yes, the bottom "Lip" goes under the sheet metal and is visible from underneath the car.
