69 Camaro bucket seat, pass side.
Anyone have a source for the "stop" cable? Mine is broken, and if somoone folds the seat forward that brick of a headrest can hit the dash pretty hard. Can have one made if that is my only option.

Lynn,
My car is really late in 69 build and did not have one originally installed. If yours is broken, then i assume the seats are orig to the car and it had one. What is the build date of your car?

Only on pass seat. Assuming they figured the steering wheel would stop the driver's seat. Don't know that these seats are original to the car. Could be from a Jan. car, which would be the donor for three of the side glasses back in 1975.

Fuzzy memories.
Funny how things start coming back. These seats did not come from that Jan. donor car. My brother put 68 seats in it, and that is what was in it when I bought it in 76. I later sold the 68 seats to a buddy. I bought a complete houndstooth interior in 78 (before I even knew what was designated on the trim tag). These seats are converted to standard, but were originally houndstooth. Have no idea of the build date of the donor. Just know it was wrecked. Paid $75 for the seats and door panels. Seats needed recovering. Door panels were perfect.

Is the deluxe seat cable same as standard seat? My 2 67 cars (1 std, 1 deluxe) are different.

There was a really great thread on these and how to refurbish/reproduce them since no vendor is currently doing so. I think it was over at CRG and maybe bled over to TC or visa-verse. A search should unearth it, whichever site it had tons of pictures of survivors and the refurbished examples.
