You are right. David Bunn's 70 L78 Chevelle SS. If there is no actual registry, it is a moot point.

The original vin number was located on the passenger's rear fram rail. Very easy to see. However, there was no vin under the heater cover on the firewall just the stamp "13437Z19". This is an Atlanta built car so I have heard this is typical for these cars but there is no official explanation of what this stamping means and why they did not stamp the vin there. Hope to locate the original owner and see what happened to the original drivetrain as David purchased the car without any drivetrain.
