First met Peter about 20 years ago and it was as if we had already been friends for years. I will sorely miss Peter.

Rest in peace Pete, and my condolences to Eric, Owen and Vicky, and likewise to all the other friends and family that make up the greater Simpson drag racing clan.

I'm stunned!!! I will miss seeing him at SCR, Pure Stock Drags, Fast/Factory Stock events and such where I feel truly honored to have gotten to know him. My condolences to the Simpson family.

Truly sad. Met Pete in the late 90s when the pure stock drags was a 20 car turn out. Tried to make my Cuda outrun his orange copo for a couple years and he was always two steps ahead. Great guy with a ton of know how. Huge loss for anybody that knew him. RIP Pete

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.
