| Re: 1971 Hornet SC/360 Ram Air FOUND

Just barely visible on the passenger side quarter window is Atco Class Winner stickers. I talked to the original owner again today. He ordered this brand new in 1971 at Eggy Rambler in Collingswood, NJ. It took 5 weeks to get. He ordered it with manual brakes, manual steering, SC/360, Go Package (which included ram air, tachometer, etc), Shift Command column shift and bucket seats, bumper guards, and Twin Grip rear end. He later added power steering and air conditioning when he could afford it. One of the first things he said he did was change out the Motorcraft 4300 carburetor with a Holley and added traction bars. Thats all for now. -Matt

A guy I worked with bought one new. Said it was a very basic car. The tires rubbed from day 1. Fun going staright but would bottom out pretty easily. I'm sure now you could change a few things around to make it a bit more 2012. At any rate a rare car. Good luck with her
