Cheater Slicks..

I think that the "pie crust style" slick gets carried over too long, the term cheater slick was active after 1966 but a current or active racer back then not be running that type tire (pie crust). This is a NON DOT rated 1967 tire

M&H still offers a repo of the original slick they are just under 200 ea

A little off topic, but I was wondering, would anyone buy just ONE old cheater slick? I did, and I have 3 unmatched ones. I used to pick them up when I found them because I never knew when I'd run across a mate. If anyone else has done this, maybe we should compare notes and see if we can come up with a matched pair. A few of you guys saw mine at the GM Nats. One was NOS.
