That's just a guesstimate by Dan Carr,and not actual.
Extrapolation does not work when talking about actual optioned vehicles produced.There are just too many variables to consider.
They made 2144 1970 L-78 coupe & cvt. Chevelles & Elcaminos,and that does NOT include the 18 w/Al.head L-89 option.
Although the ratio for Auto. vs. M/T is low,no one knows for certain.
