I checked the numbers on the crank and it is a 1178 and main caps are 2482.

Main caps would be the same for a 350....I think? The crank being an 1178 is a 3" stroke so you are good. Like I said DZ is a suffix code for a Z/28. Block is nothing special compared to other 4 bolt blocks.

You need to provide a good sharp image of the pad with the stampings. Use the Macro setting on your camera (Flower symbol).
Then we can see if it is a "real" DZ-block. Jan |
