I had a blue 69 (in the 80's)with the silver paint on the bottom like that. Don't know if it was orig. I don't see any wood grain??!!

</div></div>Yes the silver paint is correct for on the bottom of 69 chevelle Malibu's.

Just looks like a dirty Garnet red 69 Malibu w/ black vinyl top to me. Good eye on the 1969 IL license plates, Rick!

Must be the way the light was reflecting off the tops of the fenders/quarters. Looked like it had a woodgrain center and light yellow on bottom. My error.
