Thanks for the clarification VintageMusclecar . I have a question regarding the 396 bigblock and where they where produced in 1967. I understood that all or most where from (T) Tonawanda ny plant however my 396 block vin and GM of Canada documentation states (k) for Mc Kinnon industries St Catharines Ontario . Does anybody know or have a big block from that location ? I know McKinnon did produce blocks for GM . i Checked with GM vintage vehicles division George Zapora and he confirmed it to be correct.

VERY very few 67 BB's came from Mc Kinnon, I have only 1 documented CDN 67 427 Impala SS in my registry with a Mc Kinnon built motor. And to top it off the assembly date on the front pad is dated 6 months before the car was built, this is backed up by the GM of Canada docs.
