			Cool car... neat project.   You need $50,000 in the body alone. A 390/427 with paper and good options like this (AC, PB, Good colors) is worth about $125k all in with bullet proof awards. Add 20% because of the original owner?

			Too bad someone flared it..... It would be a cool survivor otherwise. If I had spent the last 30 years trying to buy a car and finally got it..... I'd be keeping it...... though he probably paid 30k and is looking to make a fast 100k.... |

			I think all of the original Mercury astronauts got gratis BB Vettes.I think Gus Grisham's Red BB Vette was kicking arounnd for a while

			I would have thought he would have had a 435hp vette, or a 400hp one with air.  The first man on the moon would have a pretty big ego, right? Who is to say, he may have had more than a few vettes in his garage from different dealers....(they were advertising tools for the dealer). |

Add 20% because of the original owner? </div></div> I agree, to restore the car with the body work that would be required would cost 100k if not more. That would put you at 225/250k for a 390 coupe.
