As long as you are going to lose points for the painted bolts.....you might as well do a LS swap.......Drive that "Beater".......

There is a research topic over at CRG about the holes in the trunk lid. For the emblem they were stamped out and all other holes were drilled on the line.
http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=3752.0 This one is dated before the Firebirds came to Norwood so there shouldn't be a mixup. The trunklid bracing on 69 Camaros had the holes for mounting the Trans Am wing from around 01A or maybe earlier. Yours don't have that. It could be a replacement lid you have there. Jan |

Man, some F70 pinstripe whitewalls would look really good with those wheels. |

Jan </div></div> Jan, possibly you're confused but this 69 Rally Sport is LOS built car. That plant started building Firebirds in 1968. This car is an 11B built car so it should not have the extra holes to accommodate the TA spoiler. We found this car to be original in both body panel and paint(all sheet metal date codes matched the build period). Again this is an 11B LOS built car therefore your assertion that the trunk lid is replace is incorrect. A team of four judges spent over three hours on this car and it’s as real and unrestored as they get.
