While strolling around Whistler on the Weekend I spotted this 66 or 67 Comet Convert under a tarp. A very unlikely place for an old Muscle car. Its a resort community and has strict bylaws on where cars and RV's can be stored.

I think Ive talked to the guy with the Charger at a show, original owner 4 speed Hemi. He used to manage a tire store at Daniels and Fiddlestcks in Ft. Myers. Ron.... |

WOW! All I can say is how much appreciation I have for the NICE cars that are left! Back when these cars were basically "used cars" not many people cared enough to pamper or protect them---hence the prices some of the REAL GOOD ONES command today. Even though I try to collect un-retored originals (have been WAY before the current craze), I will undertake a full-blown restoration if I absolutely love the car. I'm kinda to the point where my body says "BUY 'EM DONE"---my back just can't take much more. Thanks to all for posting the pics and keep 'em comin'!!!!!!!!

Yesterday, I saw a '66 427 'Vette roadster that had "hibernating" for about 25 years. The car needs EVERYTHING, but it is all there with original K-66, Holley intake, headlights, etc. I would say it was a "sleeping" car instead of "rotting" and WILL be restored.....someday. A one-owner, 54k miles, no-hit, car.
