Come on, I'm from New Jersey. It takes more than that to hurt my feelings.

Only the best go to MCACN.

Just wait til November when I bring my original owner Raleigh Chopper. Beware, there will be an obstacle course contest for all those bikers who dare to attend with their rides.

P.S. if someone has an interesting partial trade or reasonable offer, I am happy to consider it. (for the Charger that is, not the Chopper - that one goes to my kids)

Any thing is worth what someone else will pay for it.

&quot;That is way over market value&quot;

My last realtor told me the same thing when I had him list my house for $20k over market value in 2008 when housing was at it's worst. When he made such a fuss over it I made him agree that if it sold for more he would only take the commission on what he felt was market value. That was on Monday August 11th, 2008. On Wednesday August 13th, the VERY first couple that viewed the house bought it after only inspecting it for only 20 minutes!

If you don't have something constructive to say in the classifieds please don't say anything. If you want to argue value with the owner please take it up in private. I want people to be able to advertise their car here and not have to put up with what just happened.

Even without all the paperwork, just the quality of the car puts it in a class by itself. Then add all the paperwork and cool Suburban Dodge stuff I gave you... just sayin'

Special cars cannot be replaced for any price and the right collector will love to have that car.

BTW, everybody, &quot;K code Mustang&quot; a.k.a. John, is one of the Charger's Original Fairy GodFathers. He found the original dealer file for the car back in 1990 and sent it to me. His dad is the other Fairy GodFather. He was the mechanic who originally did the work on my Charger at Suburban Dodge in 1970....and 1971....and whenever the Wickbergs broke something new.

Man that is a lot of money for that car, i would say you are way over the market value for today. </div></div>

Ahhh the myth of polite Canadians, shattered again. 87gn, I notice you are new here. Welcome. If there is a site on the internet where you can learn more about american muscle cars - particularly of the bow-tie variety - than this site, I haven't been there. I thought I knew a lot. Then I came here. Sit back, read, learn, listen. And if you open your maw and get it wrong someone will politely set you straight (there's that word again).

You don't know this Charger, obviously. It's special. Very special. Beyond its rarity, its history is so rich and so reflective of what a &quot;survivor&quot; truly is that it nearly lives and breaths and has a heartbeat. You should dig up some info on it and learn about it. The question you should have asked is &quot;what makes it so special for someone to want 285K?&quot; You would have gotten your answer in an informative, civilized manner. Instead, you were torn a new one. If you enjoy that, go to moparts.com, they do that over there to guys who just say hello. If you want to talk american muscle (particularly Chevrolet dealer Supercars) and learn some cool stuff that will impress your friends, or even share your knowledge, this is the place to be.

So, welcome, relax. Listen first, then talk. And thanks for wanting to bring Steve's car back up to the top. We have that in common, as well as the fact that we are both impolite Canadians.
