That pump makes your whole back-yard look's so cool. How about a working "AIR"meter next to go with it[I am thinking grand children here]. *Paul

The little tach from my 1973 Camaro. Nobody knows who made it. I needed a new lens, and found another tach on Ebay. The owner saud it was on a 1968 Berger or Nickey Camaro that he bought back in the day. Who knows. My 73 had recipts for parts that were bought from Motion in the 70's. Again who knows. Either way,the replacement tach had a lens that was far too yellowed to use. I made my own out of lexan, and detailed the blacked out areas with a sharpie but I could have done better. I went overboard and recoated the entire outer surface with the sharpie because the textured black surface was chalky. The outside actually came out great. I wouldnt use this on my 7000 rpm race engine, but for my 5000 rpm daily driver that I shift by ear anyway,it is more then fine, and brings the car back to the feel of 1989 for me. The car back in 1989. |
