That Green '69 Camaro just screams "COOL"! It even has the quintessential Gabriel Hi-Jacker decal on the side rear quarter windows! I gotta agree about those ugly, little wide front wheels. A set of tall, skinny front wheels would greatly improve that car.

I think the wider F 70 14s would have been correct on the green camaro. My 70 challenger had that size too in front. I don't thing the wider front tire was out of line around chicago, for street racing.

Its whatever the person likes! I like 6's in the front and 7's in the back.

If you ever drove on the street with skinny front tires and rims 3" or 4" rims, trying to make a short stop or any stop, the skinnys lock up so fast you can't control the car. It is like the front tires are on ice.

Also, go around a sharp turn too fast and those little 5.60's x 15's roll right off the 4" rims. I saw that at a show one time.

I got one car with narrow front cragars. Its been like that all its life. Now that car lived in downstate IL in a small town, and from what I know about the original owner, he just drag raced it mainly at the strip. Now the 70 mr norms challenger, and the black camaro (that got H60 15s in the back on day 2 or 3), those cars had to take corners, both owners told me they outrun the law many times (one car has switches to shut off the tail lights during braking). It just depends on where the cars grew up. I like the way the skinnies look the best, but I am noticing in some older pictures of day 2 cars, the F70 14s were there out in front more than you think. I like both looks.
