The concern is that date coded '66 427 Medium Riser parts tend to be worth more to Cobra or R-code Fairlane restorers than to the owners of Galaxies, no matter how rare. Its a lot like all of the 428CJ Torinos and Cyclones that got stripped of their good parts in order to restore 428CJ Shelbys and Mach 1's.

Thanks Tom. I guess my question is not out of line. You stated what I already knew. This is a very cool piece of history, but every component must be verified and that is all I was asking.
