			July 19, 1951: Eastern Airlines Flight 601, operated by Lockheed L-749A Constellation N119A suffered severe buffeting after an access door opened in flight. A flapless wheels-up landing was made at Curles Neck Farm, Virginia. The aircraft was later repaired and returned to service. ![]() </div></div> I was exactly one month old on that day!
