Be careful when criticizing someone else's car, when you don't know what you're talking about. Thats a well known Chevelle and restorer, who doesn't restamp blocks.

Easy Bill, that is just my opinion and I am not claiming to be an expert. I do admire the quality of the restoration, that is why I took pics of the car.

Jeff, you may not have meant anything, but questioning an engines originality (not sure why if it's not for sale) and then claiming &quot;is just my opinion and I am not claiming to be an expert&quot;. Just puts a question mark on the car and begs the question; why make the claim.

There is always a slippery slope when making a claim/opinion on someones car. I believe if the car was for sale and the owner was claiming it was original engine /stampings and you questioned it, I would hope anyone would back it up with pictures and the basis for stating their opinion.

The car is beautiful and it's great that the owner participated in the event.
