Words cannot express how saddened the Clary family was to hear of Steve’s passing. For some unknown reason, he took a liking to us hillbillies, making us part of his extended family. We will always cherish the memories of the many good times we had with Steve. He will always be close to our hearts.
And as others have mentioned, Steve was a true car guy, through and trough, always willing to pitch in, where ever needed, to help others, not expecting, or wanting, anything in return. I can honestly say, were it not for Steve, the sYc would not be what is today. Rest in Peace My Friend.

What can I add that hasn't already been eloquently said?
Steve was a one in a million kind of guy...and our family will miss him. Steve was more than generous when I had issues with my Chevelle. He took it upon himself and his staff to come and get my car and get it fixed...at no cost to me. I told him many times that I could never repay his generosity...and his answer was "Seeing a smile on your face and your family having fun is all the payment I'll ever need". That in a nutshell was Steve Sandlin...a quiet guy with a tremendous heart... Beth and the rest of the Sandlin family..please take it easy...we are here for whatever you need. Jeff, the same goes for you. Thanks for all of the PM's and calls Steve...and thanks for being a friend to so many (my lucky self included)!
