Wow, have I learned alot from this thread !!!
I spent many nights ay Front Street and JFK stadium in Philly back in the early 80s in my best friend´s 73 RS LT Camaro. Although we always ´knew´it had an LT-1 based on the prior owner´s statements, we never even realized it was actually a Z-28. It had no Z emblems, no stripes and no spoilers. But definitely had the factory valve covers and alum intake. It was a 4 speed muncie car also. (I spent many days under that car replacing the clutch)I wish I had pics of it with the centerlines and N50s. Although he never raced in Philly, that car beat a heck of a lot of local cars at the ´parkway´in Levittown, Pa. The good old days !!! Thanks for all the knowledge !!!! |
