I was thinking that too. I'm thinkin they need to go back on. (big smile)
I had not seen slapper bars like those on Sam's car before. They really are a pretty unique piece in that you can leave that factory sway bar on, and you can adjust the snubber height with those slotted openings. If I'd have known about them back in the day, I probably would have put a set on.
Restoring them was a best guess situation. Looks like we may have guessed pretty close.
