My experience with Deepwater Blue (a color I love) definitely shows a red/purple cast to it. It becomes most apparent when you put a Bright Blue interior against it-which has an aqua/green cast to it. To my eye they clash terribly.
Not sure if your interior color choice is made already. I really like that black '67 Vette with the bright blue interior, that could be a nice look for this car. If you want to stay era-correct you might want to have him spray some '67 FoMoCo Nightmist Blue, another beautiful dark blue. Since you don't sound like a purple fan, I'll refrain from suggesting Royal Plum, but Tahoe Turquoise is a BEAUTIFUL color when shot properly that looks awesome on any '67 Chevy I've seen it on. Good luck! |
