Brief update;
We arrived today just as bodyguy was finishing up DP90'ing the trunk, hence the haze in the 1st two pics.   The pass. door is finished and ready to block.  You can see how far the contour was off on the front of the door here. Now to get the fender to match the contour of the door.  The drivers door was in even worse shape, but repairs are now in process.   The rust and Bondo has been excised from the bottom of the PS fender so repairs can be made.  Speaking of fenders...turns out that "cherry" DS fender I sprang for wasn't quite so cherry after all...not a huge issue, but still.  That's all for now. More next week.

Plodding right along...
Body guy was hard at work when we arrived today having just <span style="font-weight: bold">RE</span>-straightened the front of the frame that was <span style="font-style: italic">supposed to be </span> repaired a couple of years ago. The issue was revealed when he attempted to start aligning the fenders and doors and they wouldn't come in line. I noticed this issue when I put the nose of the car on myself but figured it was due to my non-expertise as a body and fender guy. After a couple of hours of tugging, bending and pulling, the frame is now back where it's supposed to be and the fenders are lining up where they're supposed to be.  The door lines are coming in quite nicely.      Turning our attention back to the passenger side for a moment, compare the alignment now to the pics in the post above pre-re-frame-tweaking: (the fenders are still loose here so the lines aren't exactly where they're supposed to be just yet)    Body guy #1 and #2 in conference discussing the alignment of the lower drivers side fender to the rocker panel. (flattering view, isn't it?...sorry guys)  Inching forward with the progress one day at a time. More later.

Looking great Eric. Great to see that you are getting the body work all done in one shot. I know it wasn't planned that way but sometime thing work out better when not as planned.
