Default FAST in the nines........

Lane Carey's 429 SCJ with a 9.92 is the first car

Then Dave Dudek finally pushed the Road Runner over with a 9.98

the current FAST record is a incredible 9.87 @ 139.82 for Lane

holy cow

Wow, a FORD was the first in the 9's! How unexpected and totally cool. Lane's '71 Ford Mustang is an impressive car, to say the least. I have a picture of it pulling both front wheels that I sent to some friends. That's a LOOONG, heavy front end to yank the wheels on repop Polyglas. Unbelievable stuff.

The Fords have always done well in stock eliminator. All their engines have more poential as race engines then street engines. I am wowwed by anybody going 9's in FAST trim, but I am not suprised it was a Ford.
