I seem to recall meeting Rodger several years ago, but I don't recall the cicumstances, and I certainly don't "know" him.
The car did appear in MCR years back. I've got the issue somewhere. It was part of a low buck muscle feature and was on the cover, up top, along with an orange 70 Road Runner and a red 69 Cobra.
