very cool. several levels of trim in 69/70 including the Camper Special with the 8 and 1/2 foot bed (I think the longest fleetside ever). Looks like that paint will clean up nice!! |

Camper Specials are cool and I recall thinking how strange they were the first time I looked closely at the box extension pieces.. Is that factory Chevy wood in the box floors?. Nice website Bud. Thanks for the heads up. Couple more shots of the C20. I noticed it has dual gas tanks too and the front wheel driveshaft is missing. Anyone know what kind/manufacturer of tranny should be in this? ...

I may have assumed it was a 4 speed. Could it be a 3 speed with a granny gear? what is an "sm465"?

My 72 Short Fleet 4x4 has a 4 speed manual. The first gear is fairly useless for standard driving as it is a non syncroed granny gear. Still fun to drive though. Jason |

Put it in gear, get out, and start throwing bales on it! |
