I saw that segment on a show called "Time Warp", where they use ultra high speed cameras to see what really happens when filmed at 4000 frames per second. Very cool show, I think it was on the Discovery channel.

That's some crazy stuff right there. A local shop teacher lost three fingers last year, he had over 20 years on the job. They cut all the cords off the power tools in his classroom and tried to keep the story quiet.

I knew a man who accidentally cut off all of his fingers with a saw. The doctor said, "Thank goodness for microsurgery. Give me the fingers, and I'll sew them back on!" The man said, "I couldn't pick them up!"
