i found a very cool Flicker link yesterday, with vintage street scenes from mostly Calif. incl, SF and LA but some from back east and a few from over seas incl the Pacific and France...
worth some time...

Wow that truly is a fabulous link with some awesome pictures , however , and I'm not trying to undermine your post at all [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/wink.gif[/img] ... by clicking on the flickr members user name you'll find all his pics more categorized (is that even a word ? lol) and each pic has a caption and date .
